Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, this par 71 has fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Serra de Sintra.
It is a Robert Trent Jones-style course with elevated Greens and Tee, several bunkers and also some lakes. All holes are different, you will have to use all the clubs in the bag and play strategically to make a good result.
Some of the holes that you will not forget are:
- Hole 3, Par 4, is one of the most famous holes in Portuguese golf, overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and his photo was used for many years in promoting golf in Portugal abroad;
- Hole 4, Par 3, is played over a natural ravine towards a very demanding green;
- Hole 13, is a Par 3 that is played over a large lake to a high Green and well protected by 4 bunkers;
- Hole 18, is a beautiful Par 5, with two lakes, where all shots have to be strategically designed so as not to be penalized by the water.
A Zona, Lisboa Golfe Coast, won the IAGTO Award in 2007 and 2016 - Best Established Golfing Destination Europe.
